Job Description: Chief Human Resource Officer

After working for a semiconductor company for several years, JZ and several colleagues decided to quit and form their own semiconductor company in Shanghai, China. In this new company, JZ worked as the chief human resource officer. Given the importance of the position, particularly in the company's early years, she had to work countless more hours than her peers. Every morning, she got up around 7:30 to get ready for work. Who Am I

Hi, my name is David Ju. My parents immigrated to the United States for their studies and gave birth to me in New York. I then spent my childhood in Maine until I was seven. However, due to work, my parents returned to China. From then on, I lived in Shanghai and attended an American school until I graduated high school. I plan on returning to Shanghai after I complete my graduate degree. I am like my parents because I am ambitious. I would say that my bicultural upbringing allows me to analyze issues and situations through different perspectives and be relatively more open-minded. I am partially operating under someone else's expectations. My parents have hustled and provided me a lot of privileges, and I do not want to disappoint them. I honestly have never thought about role models outside family members, but I guess Leonardo DiCaprio does a fine job using his platform to raise awareness about the environment.
